It’s great to see so many students enjoying the sunshine but I am happy that it has taken so long to arrive this year. Why? Because students don’t work as hard for their exams when the weather is good. Have you fallen into the trap of catching a few rays to top up or start off your tan whilst you revise outside? It’s such a temptation but don’t kid yourself you work best in a cool environment.
There has been criticism of the accuracy of examination marking for last summer’s series recently in national newspapers. Most challenges from our College have moved up a grade and so bear this in mind in August when you get your results. If the grade changes the Board will return the remark fee. When you get your result if it isn’t what you were expecting college staff will help and advise you on how to challenge. You complete a form and pay a small fee and we take care of the rest.
